Signs of Cold Temperatures in Jersey knapweed
Symptoms
Jersey knapweed tolerates cold well and flourishes best when temperatures exceed 65℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 60℉. If temperatures drop below 55℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that did not sprout.
Signs of Warm Temperatures in Jersey knapweed
Symptoms
In summer, Jersey knapweed should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 80℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, curl, suffer sunburn, and in extreme cases, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
