Signs of Cold Conditions in Evergreen oak

Evergreen oak tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it should be maintained above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while no immediate winter changes might be apparent, branches can become brittle and dry by spring, with no new growth appearing.

In spring, remove any dead branches that have not produced new foliage.

During summer, Evergreen oak should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's leaves may lighten in hue, their tips might dry and shrivel, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
