Signs of Cold Stress in Burmese rosewood
Symptoms
Burmese rosewood thrives in warmth and cannot withstand cold. It grows optimally when temperatures exceed 68℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 59℉. Below 50℉, foliage may lose color. Post-frost, leaves progressively brown or blacken, showing signs of wilting and drooping.
Solutions
Remove frost-damaged sections. Promptly relocate indoors to a warm area for protection. Position the plant near a south-facing window for ample light. Furthermore, avoid placing it near heating units or AC vents to prevent excessive air dryness.
Signs of Heat Stress in Burmese rosewood
Symptoms
In summer, Burmese rosewood should be maintained below 86℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, leaves become paler, and the plant is more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove any sun-scorched and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from intense midday and afternoon sun. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
