Ideal Temperature for Loofah

Signs of Cold Stress in Loofah
Symptoms
Loofah exhibits moderate resilience to cooler temperatures, flourishing optimally when temperatures range from 70℉ to 95℉. In colder months, it should be maintained above 65℉. Should the temperature drop below 60℉, foliage may darken. In extreme instances, water-soaked tissue death, wilting, and drooping can occur, with leaves progressively browning.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting or construct a temporary greenhouse for protection against cold. When bringing the plant inside, select a spot near a south-facing window to ensure sufficient light. If natural light is inadequate, consider using artificial grow lights.
Signs of Heat Stress in Loofah
Symptoms
In summer, Loofah should be kept below 95℉. When temperatures surpass 99℉, the plant's development decelerates, its leaf color fades, and it becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Prune off any sun-scorched and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to an area offering protection from the afternoon sun. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
