Signs of Cold Stress in Amazon Lily
Symptoms
Amazon Lily tolerates cool conditions moderately well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 65℉. Throughout winter, maintain temperatures above 60℉. Should the temperature drop below 55℉, foliage may begin to sag. Minor instances allow for recovery, but severe cases lead to wilting and eventual leaf drop.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Before subsequent exposure to cold, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or cloth, and erect a windbreak to shield it from chilly gusts.
Signs of Heat Stress in Amazon Lily
Symptoms
In summer, Amazon Lily should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 80℉, leaf coloration lightens, leaf tips may dry and shrivel, leaves might curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Cut off any parts that are sunburned and desiccated. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth to provide cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to ensure soil moisture.
