Ideal Temperature for Paperbush

Signs of Cold Stress in Paperbush
Symptoms
Paperbush tolerates cool conditions moderately well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 50℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 42℉. If the temperature drops below 32℉, foliage may begin to sag. Mild instances allow recovery, but severe cases lead to wilting and eventual leaf drop.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Before subsequent cold exposure, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or cloth, and erect a windbreak to shield it from chilling winds.
Signs of Heat Stress in Paperbush
Symptoms
In summer, Paperbush should be maintained below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, leaf coloration fades, leaf tips may dry and shrivel, leaves might curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Prune off any sun-scorched and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to ensure soil moisture.
