Signs of Cold Stress in Dendrobium Noble
Symptoms
Dendrobium Noble flourishes in warm conditions and cannot withstand low temperatures. Optimal growth occurs when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 55℉. If the temperature drops below 50℉, leaves will show widespread waterlogging, necrosis, wilting, and sagging.
Solutions
Remove any frost-damaged sections. Promptly move the plant indoors to a warm spot for cold protection. Position the plant near a south-facing window to ensure sufficient light. Furthermore, avoid placing it near heating or AC vents to prevent excessive air dryness.
Signs of Heat Stress in Dendrobium Noble
Symptoms
In summer, Dendrobium Noble should be maintained below 85℉. When temperatures surpass 90℉, plant growth will halt, and leaves will progressively wilt. It becomes more prone to root rot and can easily suffer sunburn from direct sun exposure.
Solutions
Prune off any sunburned and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to an area offering shade from the midday and afternoon sun. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain moisture for both the plant and its surroundings.
