Signs of Cold Stress in Rush skeletonweed
Symptoms
Rush skeletonweed tolerates cold well and grows optimally when temperatures exceed 68℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 41℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that did not sprout.
Signs of Heat Stress in Rush skeletonweed
Symptoms
In summer, Rush skeletonweed should be maintained below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
