Signs of Cold Stress in Neem tree
Symptoms
Neem tree favors warm conditions and cannot withstand low temperatures. It flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 68℉. In winter, it must be maintained above 59℉. Should the temperature drop below 50℉, foliage may lose its vibrant color. Following frost exposure, leaves progressively turn brown or black, and signs like wilting and drooping might appear.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting for protection against cold. Position the plant near a south-facing window to ensure sufficient light. Furthermore, avoid placing it near heating units or air conditioning vents to prevent overly dry air.
Signs of Heat Stress in Neem tree
Symptoms
In summer, Neem tree should be maintained below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, leaf coloration lightens, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Prune off any sun-scorched and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to an area offering protection from the intense midday and afternoon sun. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
