Signs of Cold Temperatures in Garden orache
Symptoms
Garden orache tolerates cool conditions moderately well, flourishing optimally between 60℉ and 75℉. In colder months, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, foliage may darken. Extreme cold can lead to water-soaked tissue death, wilting, drooping, and a gradual browning of leaves.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm spot or construct a temporary greenhouse for protection from cold. If moved indoors, position it near a south-facing window for adequate light. Supplement with artificial lighting if natural light is insufficient.
Signs of High Temperatures in Garden orache
Symptoms
In summer, Garden orache should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 90℉, plant development slows, leaf color fades, and it becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried out. Relocate the plant to an area offering protection from the afternoon sun. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
