Giant taro favors warm conditions and cannot withstand cold. It flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 75℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 60℉. If the temperature drops below 50℉, foliage may lose vibrancy. Following frost exposure, leaves progressively turn brown or black, and signs like wilting and sagging might appear.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting for protection from cold. Position the plant near a south-facing window to ensure sufficient light. Furthermore, avoid placing it near heating units or AC vents to prevent excessive air dryness.

In summer, Giant taro should be kept below 85℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, leaf coloration fades, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
