Chinese pearl-bloom tree (Poliothyrsis sinensis)
Also known as: Chinese Enkianthus
They are trees that reach a height of 7 to 15 m with gray-brown bark and pubescent branches that have short curly hairs at first but become glabrous later. The petiole is 2 to 6 cm long, initially pubescent but become glabrescent. The leaf is green on the upper side and dark green and bright on the underside, ovate or ovate-oblong, sometimes ovate-cordate, and measures 8 to 18 cm × 4 to 10 cm.
