Mountain moss psilocybe

Deconica montana

A species of Deconica.

The species known as mountain moss psilocybe was previously classified under the Psilocybe genus. However, subsequent molecular analysis determined the absence of psilocybin, leading to its reclassification into the Deconica genus. This fungus is part of the little brown mushroom category and has numerous inedible or toxic counterparts, therefore consumption is not recommended.
