What is this on my plant leaf that is spreading quickly?

Without a visual, it's challenging to pinpoint the exact issue. However, rapid spreading on a leaf often points to a fungal or bacterial infection. Powdery mildew, characterized by white, powdery spots, is a common culprit, or perhaps a rapidly advancing rust fungus with its characteristic orange-brown pustules. Bacterial leaf spots, often water-soaked and angular, can also spread quickly. Isolate the plant and consider a broad-spectrum fungicide or bactericide while you investigate further.
