Signs of Cold Stress in Manila grass
Symptoms
Manila grass tolerates cool temperatures moderately well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 75℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 60℉. If the temperature drops below 45℉, its foliage might begin to sag. Mild cases can recover, but severe instances lead to wilting and eventual leaf drop.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Before further cold exposure, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or cloth, and build a windbreak to shield it from cold gusts.

Symptoms
In summer, Manila grass should be maintained below 95℉. When temperatures rise above 100℉, the leaves' color fades, tips may dry and shrivel, leaves might curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Cut off any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
