Signs of Cold Stress in Tipu tree
Symptoms
Tipu tree thrives in warmth and cannot withstand cold. Optimal growth occurs above 68℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. Below 32℉, foliage may lose vibrancy. Post-frost, leaves progressively brown or blacken, exhibiting wilting and drooping.
Solutions
Remove frost-affected sections. Promptly relocate indoors to a warm area for cold protection. Position the plant near a south-facing window for abundant light. Avoid proximity to heaters or AC vents to prevent air desiccation.
Signs of Heat Stress in Tipu tree
Symptoms
In summer, Tipu tree should remain below 77℉. Temperatures exceeding 95℉ cause leaves to fade and increase susceptibility to sun damage.
Solutions
Prune off sun-scorched and desiccated portions. Transfer the plant to a spot offering shade from intense midday and afternoon sun. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
