Ideal Temperature for Palmgrass

Signs of Cold Stress in Palmgrass
Symptoms
Palmgrass favors warm conditions and cannot withstand cold. It flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 68℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 59℉. If the temperature drops below 50℉, foliage may lose some color. Following frost damage, leaves progressively turn brown or black, and signs like wilting and drooping might appear.
Solutions
Remove any frost-damaged sections. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting for protection against cold. Position the plant near a south-facing window to ensure sufficient light. Furthermore, avoid placing it near heating units or AC vents to prevent overly dry air.
Signs of Heat Stress in Palmgrass
Symptoms
In summer, Palmgrass should be maintained below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the leaves' color fades, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Prune off any sunburned and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to an area offering shade from the midday and afternoon sun. Water the plant during the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
