Indications of Low Temperature in Baikal skullcap
Symptoms
Baikal skullcap tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 68℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 59℉. If the temperature drops below 50℉, while winter changes might not be apparent, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Indications of High Temperature in Baikal skullcap
Symptoms
In summer, Baikal skullcap should be maintained below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the plant's leaves may lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant might wilt and desiccate.
Solutions
Prune off any sunburned and dried sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric. Water the plant in the morning and evening to keep the soil damp.
