Ideal Temperature for Radish

Signs of Cold Stress in Radish
Symptoms
Radish tolerates cool temperatures moderately well, flourishing optimally between 60℉ and 70℉. In colder months, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 32℉, foliage may darken. Extreme cold can lead to water-soaked tissue death, wilting, drooping, and a gradual browning of the leaves.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warmer spot or construct a temporary greenhouse for protection against cold. When indoors, position it near a south-facing window for adequate light. If natural light is insufficient, provide additional illumination.
Signs of Heat Stress in Radish
Symptoms
In summer, Radish should be kept below 70℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, plant development slows, leaf color fades, and it becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove any sun-scorched or dried-out sections. Relocate the plant to an area shielded from the intense afternoon sun. Water the plant during the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
