Ideal Temperature for Cherry plum

Indications of Low Temperature in Cherry plum
Symptoms
Cherry plum is resilient to cold and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. Throughout the winter, it needs to be maintained above 50℉. Should the temperature drop below 32℉, while no immediate winter changes might be apparent, branches could become fragile and parched by spring, with no new growth appearing.
Solutions
In spring, remove any lifeless branches that have not developed new foliage.
Indications of High Temperature in Cherry plum
Symptoms
In summer, Cherry plum should be kept below 70℉. When temperatures surpass 80℉, the plant's leaves might lighten in hue, their tips could become dry and shriveled, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove the sun-damaged and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or employ a shade cloth for cover. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
