Signs of Cold Stress in Allspice
Symptoms
Allspice favors warm conditions and cannot withstand low temperatures. It flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 65℉. In winter, it must be maintained above 50℉. Should the temperature drop below 40℉, foliage may lose its vibrant color. Following frost damage, the leaves progressively turn brown or black, and signs like wilting and drooping might appear.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting for protection from cold. Select a location near a south-facing window to position the plant, ensuring abundant light. Furthermore, refrain from placing the plant near heating units or AC vents to prevent overly dry air.

Symptoms
In summer, Allspice should be maintained below 80℉. When temperatures surpass 90℉, leaf coloration fades, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Prune off any parts that are sunburned and desiccated. Transfer the plant to an area that offers protection from the midday and afternoon sun. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
