Ideal Temperature for Parsley

Signs of Cold Stress in Parsley
Symptoms
Parsley tolerates cool temperatures moderately well, flourishing optimally between 65℉ and 75℉. In colder months, temperatures should remain above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 32℉, foliage may darken. Severe cases can lead to water-soaked tissue death, wilting, drooping, and a gradual browning of the leaves.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm spot or construct a temporary greenhouse for protection from cold. When indoors, position it near a south-facing window for adequate light. If natural light is insufficient, provide additional illumination.
Signs of Heat Stress in Parsley
Symptoms
In summer, Parsley needs to be kept below 75℉. When temperatures rise above 85℉, plant development slows, leaf color fades, and it becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Prune off any sun-scorched or desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to an area offering shade from the afternoon sun. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
