Signs of Low Temperature in Wild peony
Symptoms
Wild peony is resilient to cold and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 50℉. Should the temperature drop below 40℉, while no immediate winter effects might be apparent, a reduction in sprouting or complete lack of sprouting could occur in spring.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of High Temperature in Wild peony
Symptoms
During the summer, Wild peony should be kept below 75℉. If temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl easily, become prone to sun damage, and in extreme instances, the entire plant could wilt and desiccate.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
