Signs of Cold Stress in Oregano
Symptoms
Oregano tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 55℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while no immediate winter changes might be apparent, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.

Symptoms
In summer, Oregano should be kept below 70℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's leaves might lighten in hue, tend to curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Prune off any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
