Ideal Temperature for Tobacco

Indications of Cold Conditions in Tobacco
Symptoms
Tobacco favors warm climates and cannot withstand low temperatures. It flourishes best when temperatures exceed 70℉. In winter, it must be maintained above 59℉. Should the temperature drop below 50℉, the foliage might lose some color. Following frost damage, the hue progressively shifts to brown or black, and signs like wilting and drooping can appear.
Solutions
Remove the sections affected by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting for protection from cold. Select a position near a south-facing window for the plant, ensuring abundant light. Furthermore, avoid placing the plant close to heating units or AC vents to prevent excessive air dryness.
Indications of Warm Conditions in Tobacco
Symptoms
In summer, Tobacco should be maintained below 86℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, the leaf color lightens, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove the parts that are sunburned and desiccated. Relocate the plant to an area that offers protection from the midday and afternoon sun. Hydrate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
