Ideal Temperature for Oleander

Signs of Cold Stress in Oleander
Symptoms
Oleander tolerates cool temperatures moderately well, flourishing optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. Throughout winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. Should the temperature drop below 40℉, its leaves might begin to sag. Minor cases allow for recovery, but severe instances lead to wilting and eventual leaf drop.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Before subsequent cold spells, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or cloth, and build a windbreak to shield it from harsh winds.
Signs of Heat Stress in Oleander
Symptoms
In summer, Oleander should be maintained below 80℉. When temperatures rise above 100℉, leaves may lighten in color, tips might dry and shrivel, leaves could curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Prune off any parts that are sunburned and desiccated. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the intense midday and afternoon sun, or deploy a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
