Symptoms
In summer, Cape jewels should be kept below 70℉. When temperatures surpass 75℉, the plant's foliage may lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the entire plant might wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
