Signs of Cold Stress in German chamomile
Symptoms
German chamomile tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 68℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 59℉. If temperatures drop below 41℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.

In spring, remove any sections that did not sprout.
Signs of Heat Stress in German chamomile
Symptoms
In summer, German chamomile should be maintained below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
