Wood lily tolerates cold well, but winter temperatures should stay above 32℉. If temperatures fall below this, while no immediate changes might be seen in winter, spring may bring reduced or absent sprouting.

Wood lily does not handle high temperatures well. When the temperature goes above 75℉, its development ceases, and it becomes more prone to decay.
Solutions
Cut off any parts that are sun-damaged and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
