Signs of Heat Stress in Rabbitear iris
Symptoms
In summer, Rabbitear iris should be kept below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the plant's foliage may lighten, curl, become prone to sun damage, and in severe instances, the whole plant might wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
