Ideal Temperature for Soybean

Signs of Cold Stress in Soybean
Symptoms
Soybean exhibits fair resilience to cool conditions and flourishes optimally when temperatures range from 70℉ to 86℉. In colder months, it should be maintained above 60℉. Should the temperature drop below 50℉, foliage might darken. In extreme instances, water-soaked tissue death, wilting, and sagging can occur, with leaves progressively turning brown.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting or construct a temporary greenhouse for protection against cold. When bringing the plant inside, select a spot near a south-facing window to ensure sufficient light. If natural light is inadequate, consider using artificial illumination.
Signs of Heat Stress in Soybean
Symptoms
In summer, Soybean should be kept below 86℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, the plant's development slows, its leaf color fades, and it becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Prune off any sun-scorched and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to an area offering shade from the afternoon sun. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
