Symptoms
Cleavers tolerates cold well and grows optimally above 55℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 41℉. If temperatures drop below 32℉, while winter changes might be unnoticeable, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.

In spring, remove any sections that did not sprout.
Signs of Heat Stress in Cleavers
Symptoms
In summer, Cleavers should be kept below 77℉. When temperatures exceed 86℉, leaves may lighten, curl, suffer sunburn, and in severe cases, the whole plant can wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged or desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot shaded from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
