Signs of Cold Stress in Snowdrop
Symptoms
Snowdrop tolerates cold well and flourishes when temperatures are above 45℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 40℉. If temperatures drop below 30℉, while no immediate winter changes might be seen, spring may bring reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of Heat Stress in Snowdrop
Symptoms
In summer, Snowdrop should be maintained below 65℉. When temperatures surpass 68℉, the plant's foliage may lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant might wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
