Ideal Temperature for Florida tasselflower

Florida tasselflower thrives in warmth and cannot withstand cold. It grows optimally when temperatures are above 68℉. In winter, temperatures should remain above 60℉. If the temperature drops below 50℉, leaves may lose their vibrant color. Following frost damage, they progressively turn brown or black, and the plant may show signs of wilting and drooping.

Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm area for protection from the cold. Position the plant near a south-facing window to ensure sufficient light. Furthermore, avoid placing it near heating units or air conditioning vents to prevent excessive air dryness.

In summer, Florida tasselflower should be maintained below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the leaves' color fades, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.

Cut off any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to an area that offers protection from the intense midday and afternoon sun. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
