Signs of Cold Stress in Corn plant
Symptoms
Corn plant favors warm conditions and cannot withstand cold. It flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 65℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 60℉. If the temperature drops below 50℉, foliage might lose some color. Following frost damage, the leaves progressively turn brown or black, and signs like wilting and drooping may appear.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting for protection from cold. Select a location near a south-facing window for the plant, ensuring plenty of light. Furthermore, avoid positioning the plant near heating units or AC vents to prevent overly dry air.
Signs of Heat Stress in Corn plant
Symptoms
In summer, Corn plant should be kept below 80℉. When temperatures go above 85℉, the leaves' hue lightens, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
