Cheddar pink tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 55℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.

Symptoms
In summer, Cheddar pink should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 80℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sun damage, and in severe instances, the whole plant could wilt and desiccate.
Solutions
Prune off any sun-damaged and dried-out portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from intense midday and afternoon sun, or deploy a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
