Signs of Cold Temperatures in Ghost tree
Symptoms
Ghost tree tolerates cold well and grows optimally when temperatures are above 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while no immediate winter changes may be apparent, branches can become brittle and dry in spring, with no new growth.
Solutions
In spring, remove any dead branches that haven't produced new foliage.
Signs of High Temperatures in Ghost tree
Symptoms
During summer, Ghost tree should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures exceed 85℉, the plant's leaves may lighten, tips might dry and wither, and it becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and dried sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
