Signs of Cold Stress in Ivy-leaved cyclamen
Symptoms
Ivy-leaved cyclamen tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 50℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 41℉. If temperatures drop below 32℉, while no immediate winter changes might be apparent, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of Heat Stress in Ivy-leaved cyclamen
Symptoms
In summer, Ivy-leaved cyclamen should be maintained below 68℉. When temperatures surpass 77℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the entire plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and desiccated. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
