Signs of Cold Stress in Jade plant
Symptoms
Jade plant cannot withstand extremely low temperatures. It flourishes optimally when temperatures range from 65℉ to 75℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 40℉, its leaves will show signs of waterlogging, tissue death, and drooping. For minor frost damage, initial symptoms might be absent, but within a week, leaves will severely droop and eventually detach.
Solutions
Prune away any frost-damaged sections. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting or construct a temporary greenhouse for cold defense. When bringing it inside, select a spot near a south-facing window to guarantee sufficient light. If using a makeshift greenhouse, ensure proper air circulation to prevent plant decay from inadequate ventilation.

Symptoms
In summer, Jade plant should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant will enter dormancy, becoming more susceptible to rot in humid conditions.
Solutions
Discard any dry or decayed portions. Transfer the plant to a location with partial shade, shielding it from direct sun exposure during midday and afternoon. Cease watering the plant until temperatures decrease.
