Taro exhibits moderate resilience to cold and flourishes optimally when temperatures range from 77℉ to 86℉. In colder months, maintain temperatures above 68℉. Should the temperature drop below 50℉, foliage may darken. Severe instances can lead to water-soaked tissue death, wilting, drooping, and a gradual browning of leaves.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting or construct a temporary greenhouse for protection against cold. When indoors, position it near a south-facing window for adequate light. If natural light is insufficient, consider using artificial illumination.

Symptoms
In summer, Taro should be maintained below 86℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, plant development decelerates, leaf coloration fades, and susceptibility to sun damage increases.
Solutions
Prune off any sun-scorched and desiccated sections. Transfer the plant to an area offering protection from the afternoon sun. Hydrate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
