Signs of Cold Temperatures in Desert willow
Symptoms
Desert willow tolerates cold well and flourishes when temperatures exceed 65℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 32℉, while no immediate winter changes might be apparent, branches can become brittle and dry by spring, with no new growth appearing.

In spring, remove any dead branches that haven't produced new foliage.

Symptoms
In summer, Desert willow should be maintained below 85℉. When temperatures surpass 100℉, the plant's leaves might lighten in hue, their tips could dry and shrivel, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
