Signs of Cold Temperatures in Northern sea oats

Northern sea oats tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.

Symptoms
In summer, Northern sea oats should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures go above 85℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, be prone to sunburn, and in extreme cases, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
