Signs of Cold Stress in Yellow oleander
Symptoms
Yellow oleander thrives in warmth and cannot withstand cold. It flourishes best when temperatures exceed 68℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 59℉. If temperatures drop below 50℉, leaves may lose their vibrant color. Following frost exposure, foliage progressively browns or blackens, accompanied by wilting and drooping.
Solutions
Remove any frost-damaged sections. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm area for protection from cold. Position the plant near a south-facing window to ensure sufficient light. Furthermore, avoid placing it near heating units or AC vents to prevent overly dry air.
Signs of Heat Stress in Yellow oleander
Symptoms
In summer, Yellow oleander should be maintained below 86℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, leaves become paler, and the plant is more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Prune off any sun-scorched and desiccated portions. Transfer the plant to a spot offering protection from intense midday and afternoon sun. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
