Signs of Cold Stress in Natal plum
Symptoms
Natal plum favors warm conditions and cannot withstand low temperatures. It flourishes best when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 32℉. If the temperature drops below 28℉, foliage may lose some color. Following frost damage, leaves progressively turn brown or black, and signs like wilting and drooping might appear.
Solutions
Remove any frost-damaged sections. Promptly relocate indoors to a warm setting for cold protection. Select a spot near a south-facing window for the plant, ensuring plenty of light. Furthermore, avoid placing it near heating units or AC vents to prevent overly dry air.

Symptoms
In summer, Natal plum should be maintained below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, leaf coloration lightens, and the plant becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Prune off any sunburned and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to an area offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
