Signs of Low Temperature in Distant-flowered sedge
Symptoms
Distant-flowered sedge tolerates cold well and flourishes when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while no immediate winter changes may be apparent, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions

Signs of High Temperature in Distant-flowered sedge
Symptoms
During summer, Distant-flowered sedge should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, plant leaves may lighten, curl, suffer sunburn, and in severe instances, the entire plant may wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering midday and afternoon shade, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to keep the soil damp.
