Signs of Cold Stress in Field mustard
Symptoms
Field mustard tolerates cool temperatures moderately well, flourishing optimally between 60℉ and 70℉. In colder months, temperatures should remain above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 32℉, foliage may darken. Extreme cold can lead to water-soaked tissue death, wilting, drooping, and a gradual browning of the leaves.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm area or construct a temporary greenhouse for protection from cold. When indoors, position the plant near a south-facing window for adequate sunlight. If natural light is insufficient, provide additional illumination.

Symptoms
In summer, Field mustard should be maintained below 70℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, plant development slows, leaf coloration fades, and susceptibility to sun damage increases.
Solutions
