Signs of Heat in Giant reed
Symptoms
In summer, Giant reed should be kept below 86℉. When temperatures exceed 95℉, leaves may lighten, curl, get sunburned, and in severe cases, the plant may wilt and dry out completely.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged or dried-out areas. Relocate the plant to a spot shaded from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
