Signs of Cold Temperatures in Hoary mugwort
Symptoms
Hoary mugwort tolerates cold well and flourishes best when temperatures are above 60℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 40℉, while no immediate changes might be seen in winter, spring may bring reduced or absent sprouting.

Symptoms
In summer, Hoary mugwort should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, curl easily, be prone to sunburn, and in extreme cases, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
