Signs of Cold Stress in Muku
Symptoms
Muku tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while no immediate winter changes may be apparent, branches can become fragile and parched by spring, with no new growth appearing.
Solutions
In spring, remove any lifeless branches that have not produced fresh foliage.
Signs of Heat Stress in Muku
Symptoms
In summer, Muku should be kept below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the plant's leaves might lighten in hue, their tips could dry and shrivel, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove the sun-damaged and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
