Signs of Low Temperature in Dill
Symptoms
Dill tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 32℉, while winter changes might be unnoticeable, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of High Temperature in Dill
Symptoms
In summer, Dill should be maintained below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, plant leaves might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
